Network Cabling

Commercial Cat6 and Cat6A horizontal cabling from patch panel to outlet. Homerun topology, T568B terminations, labeled both ends, tested every run. Retail build-outs, tenant improvements, new construction.

Fiber Optic Cabling

Backbone fiber for MDF-to-IDF runs, campus inter-building, and data center connections. Single-mode and multimode. Fusion splicing, LC/SC/MPO termination, OTDR testing and loss budget verification.

Scope & Takeoff

We review your construction drawings, perform a drop count takeoff, size the IDFs, and develop a detailed scope with fixed pricing.

Rough-In

Pathway coordination, J-hook installation, box rough-in, and pull-string staged ahead of cable. Scheduled around GC trade sequence.

Pull & Terminate

Homerun cable pulls, keystone terminations, 110-punch at panels, rack build-out, and cable dressing — all per TIA standards.

Test & Closeout

Fluke DSX link testing on every run, repairs, punch-list walk, test report PDF, as-built markup, and label schedule delivery.

We are C-7 licensed, fully insured, and experienced working from construction drawings, hitting schedule milestones, and coordinating with other trades in active construction environments.

We install Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A for horizontal copper cabling. For most commercial projects we recommend Cat6A — the current standard for PoE++ devices and wireless access points. We also install single-mode and multimode fiber optic cable for backbone and inter-building runs.

Yes. Every horizontal run is tested with a Fluke DSX CableAnalyzer for wire map, length, and link certification. Fiber runs are tested with an OTDR for loss budget verification. A complete pass/fail test report PDF is delivered at project closeout — no exceptions.

A small office (10–30 drops) typically takes 2–3 days. A mid-size project (50–150 drops) runs 1–2 weeks. Large multi-floor commercial projects — retail big-box, healthcare, enterprise — typically span 4–8 weeks with a crew of 3–5 technicians. We provide a detailed schedule with firm milestones after reviewing your construction documents.

An MDF (Main Distribution Frame) is the central rack room where all cabling originates. IDFs (Intermediate Distribution Frames) are satellite closets on each floor serving horizontal cable runs. We perform complete MDF and IDF build-outs including rack installation, patch panel termination, 66-block voice terminations, cable management, and TIA-606-B labeling.
